We’re seeking a Dental Therapist (Advanced Dental Therapist or Dental Therapist) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in South Central MN. What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver preventive, restorative, and therapeutic dental services to patients of all ages under the general supervision of a dentist.

  • Conduct comprehensive oral assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care.

  • Educate patients and communities about oral health, hygiene, and disease prevention.

  • Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.

  • Provide care across multiple settings including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, group homes, and Head Start centers.

  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Open Dental software.

  • Adhere to all public health regulations and best practices in dental therapy.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dental Therapy or Advanced Dental Therapy from the University of Minnesota or Metropolitan State University.

  • Active Minnesota Dental Therapy License (DT or ADT).

  • Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

  • Strong foundation in primary and periodontal dental care.

  • Proficiency with Open Dental and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional language skills a plus).

  • Ability to travel occasionally for off-site care.

  • Successful completion of general and DHS background checks.

  • Knowledge of public health principles preferred.
